  Chapter One

“Soaking wet as always.” His voice is low.

My fingers tangle in his hair as he inserts yet another finger, his mouth inches from my clit. I grind down against him, wanting more. He chuckles and it vibrates against my pussy.

  “Please,” I beg.

“Patience, Saylor.” His voice thick with lust, but he doesn’t make me beg him again, his teeth nip at my clit and I buck beneath him. He finger fucks me and I’m in utter ecstasy. The man sure knows how to send me into the heights of pleasure.

My pleasure builds as he begins his relentless assault on my clit, biting and sucking it all while he’s still finger fucking me. I can’t fight the feeling anymore as my orgasm builds. When his teeth bite down against my clit, I detonate, grinding against his mouth. He doesn’t stop, he continues to lick and suck my pussy until my aftershocks subside.

He stands up, his fingers at his zipper. I watch on as he frees his cock. It’s thick and hard. The anticipation of waiting for him to take me has skyrocketed, the man continuously teases me.

He climbs on top of me, the feeling of his weight on me only enhances the anticipation. His lips graze against mine, and a whimper escapes me. I lean into him, wanting more; no, needing more.

“Please, Everett,” I beg, sounding breathy.

“You love when I eat you.” It’s a statement.

I moan, unable to form a coherent word.

“No matter how I give it to you, you take it, don’t you?”

I nod, his eyes dark and heated, he knows exactly what he’s doing to me. I love it when he talks dirty to me.

He smirks as he positions his cock at the opening of my pussy, I hold my breath as I wait for him to slide into me, it’s a feeling that I love. There is nothing better than having his thick cock inside of me, filling me up with his cum.

BEEP BEEP. BEEP BEEP. BEEP BEEP.

I come awake with a start. Crap. Not again! Why on earth do I keep dreaming about that asshole? Shaking my head, I reach over and switch off my alarm. Ugh, when are these dreams going to end? I climb out of bed, badly in need of a shower. The worst thing about these dreams I’ve been having? They leave me horny as hell.

Walking into the office, I’m shrouded by darkness. I’m the only one here as usual. As I live an hour away from work, I have to leave earlier so I can miss the traffic. Working in Augusta and travelling from Portland is a nightmare when it comes to traffic. Working for Everett Barrett has enough perks to make it worth my while. The man is drop dead gorgeous, his voice is like sin and when he’s in a good mood he’s the nicest guy you could work for. When he’s in a bad mood, I try and stay out of his way, he has a penchant for words and sometimes those words hurt. The worst thing about working here isn’t Everett; it’s his mom and his ‘family friend’ Zara. They both think I’m beneath them and should be at their beck and call.

My phone rings, startling me from my deep thoughts. “Mr Barrett’s office, how may I help you.”

“Cancel my Everett’s appointments for Monday morning and tell him that he’s to attend brunch.” She doesn’t say hello, nor does she say goodbye when she hangs up, hell she doesn’t even let me speak.

I cancel his appointments per her demands and look at the clock, it’s ten am and no sign of Zara. Although I’m not surprised as she’s always late. Everett walked in at 8:10 and walked past me as he was on the phone, not even greeting me or acknowledging my presence. As usual. The ding of the elevator door opening brings me out of my daydream and I hear heels clicking on the marble floor. Inwardly, I groan knowing it’s Zara’s and the end of my peace and tranquillity.

“Saylor,” his deep sexy voice calls through the intercom, bouncing off the walls in my small, square box of an office. God, that voice could do some serious damage, but he sounds like he’s in one of his pissy moods again; just what I don’t need. I was hoping he’d be having one of his rare good days, I need to leave early today for a weekend of fun and debauchery. I told him a while ago, hell it’s on the damn schedule, so he’d better not try and keep me late today or I will let him have it. I lift up the phone and place it between my ear and shoulder, needing to get these emails off today. “I need you to come in here.”

“Okay, Mr Barrett, I’ll be right in.” Crap. okay, there goes trying to get off early. I’ve so much work to do and there is no way Zara will do it, I always end up doing all of my work and half of hers. She’s completely useless. I mean the only reason she got this job is because her mother and Mr Barrett’s mom are friends. Then again if you’re the only heir to the Monarch Candle company, as Zara is, then you’re going to have friends in high places. I just never understood why she’s even working here. Not only has she got money coming out of her ears, she’s also crap at her job. Most days she’ll spend it online shopping. There has to be another reason, but I haven’t figured it out yet.

I walk past Zara’s desk to see her give me a once over before turning her nose up. She doesn’t like me and I couldn't care less; she hates the way I dress and always has a comment about something. I’ve learned the art of fake smiles, they work wonders when dealing with her. The thing Zara doesn’t understand is that not everyone in this world is filthy rich like her father. Hell, most of us live pay check to pay check. I know I sure do.

Walking into Mr Barrett’s office, I suck in a deep breath. Every time we’re in the same vicinity my heart rate spikes and I get butterflies in my stomach. I blush thinking of all the things he did to me in my dream last night and I know that the color is rising up my face. He’s sexier than a Greek god. One look from him has my knees going weak and I have to hold on to something just so I don’t fall. “Sir, you wanted to see me?” I try and sound as though I’m not a hot mess whenever he’s around.

  “Yes, Saylor, once you’re finis
hed sending those important emails you can leave early.” His smooth, deep voice flows through me and I get the tingles again. I remember how his moan sounded last night and I have to squeeze my legs together to stop the want running through me. It would be highly embarrassing if he could detect my need.

My voice is shaky as I try to pull myself together. “Yes, sir, thank you.” I can’t believe he’s actually letting me leave earlier than I had asked.

“Pack a bag, I need you this weekend. I have a conference.” I’m sorry, what the hell did he just say? “I’ll need you to accompany me.” Do you know how long I’ve waited for him to say those words to me? Forever. And now he says them on the one weekend in months that I’m busy. Someone doesn’t like me today.

“I’m sorry, Mr Barrett, I can’t. I won’t be here this weekend. I had requested to leave early today.” I don’t know why I’m apologizing, when I haven’t done anything wrong.

His eyes narrow, “Where are you going? Why is this the first I'm hearing about it?” He sneers at me and just like that he’s back to being the Everett Barrett that I hate. The arrogant man that thinks everything revolves around him.

I cross my arms against my chest and look at him, he's sitting behind his desk as though he's not got a care in the world. “My best friend’s bachelorette party. I have had it booked in the calendar for months. I'm sorry, Mr Barrett, I can't go and you can't expect me to.” That’s the first time I've told him no in the six months that I've been here.

He looks shocked, “Very well, Ms Bright. Finish the emails and you may leave.” He dismisses me and to make his point very clear he starts typing on his computer.

What the hell? I always go out of my way to make sure everything he needs is prepared and ready for him. Now, the one time I can’t do what he wants, I get this attitude? I stomp out of his office and into the reception area, where of course Zara is sitting with a smirk on her face. Walking over to my desk, I sit down to finish the emails and make sure he has everything he needs for his trip, even though I just want to sit down and cry. But I’m more professional than that. Yes, I’m that stupid, he treats me like garbage and I still make sure he’s ready for his conference. I make sure that Stanton, his driver, knows that he’ll be needed to take Everett to the airport.

I knock on his office door when I’m finished and wait for him to tell me to enter. It doesn’t take him long, and I walk in with my head held high. My mom told me not to show fear, that the scavengers can smell it and they’d waste no time in coming after you. “Mr Barrett, I’ve sent the emails that you requested and I rescheduled your Monday morning appointments for Friday, as your mother requested that you attend her brunch with her.”

He sighs, he’s used to his mother requesting his attendance and giving him little to no notice whatsoever. “Fine, thank you.”

“Have a good weekend, Mr Barrett.” As I leave his office I see a smirk on Zara’s face, no doubt she’s heard the conversation I’ve had with him and she’ll be going to brunch with him on Monday. “Have a good weekend, Zara.” I give her one of my fake smiles as I walk to my desk and collect my things, so glad to be finished. Just before I leave I check to see where he wanted me to go with him this weekend. Looking at his flight details I see he’s landing at McCarran airport and I inwardly groan, what are the odds? Vegas. It’s where Cassie’s bachelorette party is, and now he’s going to be there? God, this could be a recipe for disaster. I call the driver service and arrange to have a car meet him at the airport. Thankfully, I know Everett's taste and he’d want somewhere more prestigious than Flamingo’s. Knowing Everett, he’ll be staying at the Venetian or the Bellagio, the strip’s big enough so that the two of us won’t have to see each other.

I gather up my things to go home. My flight to Vegas is leaving at six, giving me just over three hours to go home, take a shower and head to the airport. I have everything ready to go, I’m anal about that stuff. I have to have everything organized or I’d have a meltdown.

When my flight is coming into land in Vegas, I can’t help but think about the two of us being in sin city together. Hopefully the town is big enough for the two of us.

  Vegas, baby!

  Chapter Two

“Saylor, you look amazing,” Cassie cries as she walks into my hotel room. “Saylor, I love that color on you. Purple really suits you, we need to get you some purple blouses for work. Can you imagine? You’d be the hottest receptionist ever.”

“We’ll see,” I tell her as I walk over to get my shoes, this dress only cost me $10 online. I don’t do mall shopping, I can’t, it stresses me out. Too many people; not to mention it costs way too much.

“Boo, you’re no fun. So while we wait for the rest of the girls, tell me has the bitch done anything lately?” She’s talking about Zara. When I first started working at Barrett Inc, she tried her hardest to get me to quit. She would purposely tell me that I was meant to send emails to clients when in fact I was sending confidential emails to the wrong clients. Thankfully, Mr Barrett didn’t fire me and I’ve dealt with bullies my entire life so she wasn’t going to get the better of me. I found my feet in Barrett Inc, stopped listening to Zara, and I learned the ropes pretty quickly.

“Nope, other than her snide comments. She’s been quiet.”

“Hmm, you need to keep an eye on her. I don’t trust her and she’s not the type of person that likes to be pushed into the background, and, Saylor, anyone who’s around you fades away.” God, Cassie is the freaking best, she always has my back.

“You think I’m saying this because you’re my best friend? No, girl, you are not only smart and sweet, you are beautiful; one of these refined beauties that don’t know their worth.” She pulls me into a hug, “You deserve so much better than being Everett Barrett’s maid. Your mom wanted more for you.”

Tears spring to my eyes at the mention of my mom, it’s been ten months since she passed away and every day I miss her even more, but knowing that she’s with Grams makes it hurt less. “I know but it was all I could find, I need the income as I have bills to pay.”

“I told you, you could have worked for me. It would be so much fun.” Cassie’s eyes brighten at the thought, she owns the dating company Match Made. She’s asked me so many times to come and work as a dating consultant.

“Cass, I have no idea about that. Hell, I haven’t been on a date since I was eighteen. That’s over six years ago, your company is successful and I’d ruin it with my lack of knowledge. Not only that, I love you like a sister but you’re messy and disorganized. I’d want to kill you by the end of the first day.”

She laughs because she knows I’m right. “Come on, we’ll text the girls and tell them we’ll meet them in the lobby.”

She pulls out her phone and sends the message and I feel my phone vibrate, I look up at her and she shrugs, “It was easier to send to the group message that had already been made.”

“So where’s Paul having his bachelor party?” Paul is Cassie’s husband to be and I hate him. I always have and I think I always will. I don’t know why I dislike him, there’s just something about him that I don’t trust.

“I don’t know, just as he doesn’t know we’re in Vegas. Can you let me in on what I’m to expect tonight? Oh, please tell me there will be male strippers, just like in Magic Mike.”

It’s my turn to laugh, she has no idea what’s in store for her this weekend and I love that I’ve managed to keep her in the dark. I mean, she is my best friend so who am I to disappoint? There will absolutely be strippers. “We’re going to dinner.”

She narrows her eyes at me, “Saylor Taylor Bright. Please tell me you didn’t drag my ass to Vegas for dinner?” Yes, that is my name, my mom had some twisted sense of humor, one that I’m still trying to figure out. “Say, come on girl. There has to be more than just dinner.” She wiggles her eyebrows at me. She knows there’s more to dinner than just food.

“Cass, you’re just going to have to wait and see.” I love torturing her, she alwa
ys has to know everything, so having the upper hand is something I'm going to draw out for as long as I can. She pouts and I grab her hand dragging her out of the room; excited for the weekend I have planned for her.

  Chapter Three

“Right, it’s time for surprise number one,” I tell her, as the rest of the girls are looking on in excitement. None of us have ever been to Vegas before and we’ve been looking forward to this since Cass told us she wanted a Vegas themed bachelorette party. She didn’t realize she’d end up in Vegas until last week.

“Please be strippers, please be strippers,” Cass prays. I can’t help but laugh at her. I had to organize strippers for her, I can just imagine the disappointment if there wasn’t any. She’d think her hen weekend was a failure. Not on my watch it won’t be.

“Not strippers, we’re going to MGM and we’re going to do some gambling. Us girls have pulled our resources and have added money to a pot for your gambling needs,” I tell her with a smirk. Cass has no self-control, she doesn’t know when to quit. Anytime we’ve gone to Lucky Chances for dinner, Cassie always ends up getting lost in the casino and it’ll take us over an hour to find her.

Cass stamps her foot, “I’m not that bad. But I thank you.” She smiles widely as she links her arm through mine, “Let’s go!” Good, the excitement has hit and I knew she’d enjoy this, we’ve given her five hundred dollars to play with. Thankfully the girls were happy to contribute which meant that I could have some money for myself.
